Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) has announced the auction results for its 600 MW grid-connected, ground-mounted solar power project integrated with battery energy storage system (BESS) at the Morena solar park in Madhya Pradesh.
ACME Solar Holdings has been awarded 220 MW at a tariff of Rs 2.76 per kWh, while Ceigall India has been awarded 220 MW at a tariff of Rs 2.70 per kWh. The developers are required to supply 220 MW at any time block and up to 440 MWh during peak demand periods. The 9-hour peak period will be divided into a 4-hour morning peak and a 5-hour evening peak. Power will be procured by Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company on behalf of the state’s distribution companies. RUMSL will be responsible for setting up the evacuation infrastructure.
