Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has planned to acquire 2.5- 3 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
The company currently holds an operational renewable energy portfolio of approximately 2.5 GW. The expansion aligns with ONGC’s broader energy transition strategy. In parallel, the company is also exploring long-term contracts to import 3 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas annually and with some deals expected to be finalised within the next 12 months.
