Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received notifications of award from Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) for the execution of two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) packages.
The orders cover one 660 MW unit at Amarkantak Unit 6 and one 660 MW unit at Satpura Unit 12, both supercritical thermal power plants located in Madhya Pradesh. The contracts include the supply of equipment, erection, commissioning, and civil works, and were awarded through an open tender process. The projects are scheduled to be completed within 57 months from the date of award. The total contract value is estimated to be in the range of Rs 130 billion to Rs 150 billion.
