Orsted has signed memoranda of understanding (MoU) with Korea South-East Power Company (KOEN) and POSCO Group to support the development of its 1.4 GW offshore wind project off the coast of Incheon, South Korea.
The agreement with KOEN is aimed at leveraging the company’s expertise in Korea’s power market, supply chain, and offshore development to align the project with national energy policies. The partnership with POSCO will focus on combining its capabilities in steel, engineering, and industrial development with Ørsted’s global offshore wind experience.
