Goldwind Science & Technology Company Limited has secured a contract to supply wind turbines for 286 MW of capacity across four renewable energy projects being developed by Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (GULF) in Thailand.
The projects will use Goldwind’s GWH182-series turbines installed on steel-concrete hybrid towers. The projects are expected to commence commercial operations in 2027. One 78 MW wind farm is fully owned by GULF’s subsidiary, Gulf Renewable Energy Company Limited (GRE), while the remaining three projects developed in joint venture with Alpha Energy Holding will see GRE holding a 60 per cent stake.
