Westbrooke Alternative Asset Management and French renewable energy firm CVE have expanded their partnership in South Africa through the acquisition of an operational portfolio of solar and battery energy storage assets from Thebe Solar Energy.
The acquired portfolio, with an annual output of 7.8 GWh, comprises installations at Shell-owned service stations across South Africa. The assets will benefit from Westbrooke’s long-term investment strategy and CVE’s operational expertise. The transaction was executed through Westbrooke Renewable Energy Alternatives in partnership with CVE South Africa.
