Solarvest Holdings Bhd’s subsidiary, Atlantic Blue Sdn Bhd has secured a provisional letter of award from a unit of Malakoff Corporation Bhd to undertake the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) of a 470 MW solar power project in Perak, Malaysia.
This was awarded under the LSS PETRA 5+ programme, the Larut and Matang-based project will become one of Malaysia’s largest ground-mounted solar installations. Once commissioned, the plant is expected to generate approximately 967,544 MWh annually and offset about 748,879 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
