Transmission Company (EETC) has signed a cooperation agreement with UAE-based K&K Investment Company to conduct final feasibility studies for the planned Egypt-Europe electricity interconnection project through Italy.
The signing of the agreement was witnessed by Egypt’s prime minister. The interconnection, designed to export surplus renewable energy from Egypt to Europe, is expected to have a transmission capacity of up to 3,000 MW.
