ElectriFI has invested EUR2.5 million in Uganda and Rwanda-based renewables firm Sawa Energy.
The equity investment, made via ElectriFI’s Uganda Country Window, will support the expansion of solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions for commercial and industrial clients across Uganda. The funding aims to accelerate the replacement of diesel generators with clean alternatives and catalyse further institutional investments in the region.
