NGEL and CtrlS sign MoU to develop 2 GW renewable energy portfolio

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CtrlS Datacenters to jointly develop around 2 GW of renewable energy capacity.

The projects will supply round-the-clock renewable power for captive use at CtrlS data centers across India. The agreement is part of NGEL’s broader strategy to support decarbonisation in key sectors. In a separate development, NGEL had also signed an MoU with Paradip Port Authority in October 2025 to implement green hydrogen-based mobility solutions in the Paradip Port region.
