Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), has inaugurated Jakarta’s first large-scale electric vehicle (EV) charging hubs under its green energy transition program.
The centres are equipped with fast and ultra-fast chargers to serve both private EVs and public transport fleets, including buses and taxis. The facilities are integrated with the PLN mobile app for real-time charger availability and payment. The initiative supports Indonesia’s net-zero 2060 goal and sets the stage for a national EV ecosystem. PLN plans to roll out similar hubs in Surabaya, Bandung, and Bali over the next two years.
