Nama Power and Water Procurement (PWP) Company has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Sembcorp Utilities and OQ Alternative Energy for the 125 MW Dhofar II wind power project in Oman.
The project is to be developed under a build-own-operate model and is scheduled to begin commercial operations in third quarter of 2027. The wind farm will feature 20 Windey WD200 turbines of 6.25 MW each, with a hub height of 215 metres and will be connected to the 400 kV national grid.
