Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, has successfully commissioned a 300 MW (AC) / 450 MWp (DC) domestic content requirement (DCR) compliant solar project for NHPC Limited at Karnisar Bhatiyan, Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The project was executed over two and a half years under challenging desert conditions and will supply clean power to Punjab State Power Corporation Limited. The plant integrates high-efficiency bifacial modules and DCR cells manufactured by TP Solar Limited, Tirunelveli.
