Reportedly, Tsuyo Manufacturing Private Limited (Tsuyo) has signed a letter of intent (LoI) with the Government of Karnataka to establish a new electric powertrain manufacturing facility and a dedicated test track for commercial electric vehicles (EV) in Dharwad.
The proposed plant will produce a range of heavy-duty electric powertrain components. The facility will support output from 0.5 kW to 250 kW, scalable up to 600 kW through partnerships with CETL and LvKON. The initiative aims to reduce import dependence, enable faster validation of EV components tailored to Indian conditions, and contribute to local employment and industrial growth.
