PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), has incorporated a special purpose vehicle (SPV) named NERGS III Siang Basin Transmission Limited.
The SPV has been created to undertake preparatory activities for the development of the NERGS-III Siang Basin transmission project. The Ministry of Power has appointed PFCCL as the bid process coordinator to select a transmission service provider under the tariff-based competitive bidding route. The SPV will facilitate land acquisition, forest clearance, and project survey activities. Upon completion of the bidding process, the SPV will be transferred to the selected bidder for implementation.
