Vestas has secured a 660 MW offshore wind order in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
The order includes a service agreement. The order comes amid a rebound in EMEA’s offshore wind sector, following delays and cancellations driven by inflation and supply-chain bottlenecks. Governments in the region are revising auction frameworks and offtake structures to accommodate higher capital costs, enabling developers to resume procurement activity.
