Infinity Power has commenced construction of its 200 MW Ras Ghareb wind farm in Egypt’s Gulf of Suez region.
This marks the company’s first greenfield wind project in the country. Powerchina Huadong Engineering Corporation Limited is serving as the engineering, procurement and construction contractor while the project is supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Proparco and the Japan International Cooperation Agency. The wind farm, expected to be commissioned in 2027.
