Husk Power Systems has launched a $400 million Series E fundraise to scale its AI-driven distributed energy resources (DER) platform, aiming to deploy 2 GW of renewable capacity across South and Southeast Asia and sub-Saharan Africa by 2030. The platform will deliver solar and battery energy storage systems (BESSs) to commercial, community and residential customers through both turnkey engineering, procurement and construction, and power purchase agreement models. Backed by predictive and agentic AI algorithms, the platform optimises energy generation at 30-minute intervals, improving both system efficiency and renewable share.
