Triveni Turbine Limited (TTL) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) have inaugurated the Triveni Turbines Centre of Excellence (CoE) at IISc’s Bengaluru campus to drive innovation in turbomachinery and energy transition technologies. The new research and development facility will focus on developing sustainable, high-efficiency systems to enhance industrial performance and reduce emissions. As part of the initiative, IISc has also launched the Dhruv Manmohan Sawhney Turbomachinery Chair to support advanced research in thermal energy and next-generation sustainable solutions. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure to support materials innovation and performance optimisation.
