NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has incorporated a joint venture (JV) company with Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL) for the development of 2 GW of renewable energy projects in Chhattisgarh.
In the JV, NGEL will own a 76 per cent stake, while CSPGCL will hold the remaining stake. Furthermore, the JV seeks to develop, operate, and maintain renewable energy projects/parks in Chhattisgarh, covering solar, wind, and hybrid projects of up to 2 GW. It will also identify suitable reservoirs for potential floating solar installations.
