Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has secured the bid under tariff based competitive bidding to implement an inter-state transmission system (ISTS) on a build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) basis.
The project, titled “Inter-Regional Strengthening between SR Grid and ER Grid,” involves the development of 765 kV double circuit (D/c) transmission lines across Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, including associated line bays and reactor works.
