Salasar Techno Engineering Limited has secured a Rs 2.32 billion turnkey transmission line contract from Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (UPPTCL) for the development of a 400 kV DC Twin Moose Banda–Chitrakoot transmission line in Uttar Pradesh. The project was awarded in November 2025.
The scope of work includes engineering, detailed design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the transmission line spanning approximately 130 km. Once commissioned, the project is expected to enhance grid stability and reliability in the region while supporting rising electricity demand driven by industrial expansion and urbanisation in the state.
