SEG Solar to develop a 3 GW ingot and wafer manufacturing facility in Batang Regency, Indonesia. The project forms phase I of a broader 5 GW expansion plan for ingot and wafer production. The proposed manufacturing facility is expected to involve an investment of about USD 80 million fully funded by SEG. Moreover, production at the plant is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
This project is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its upstream manufacturing capacity and advance the establishment of an SEG photovoltaic industrial park in Indonesia.
