CBEV Transport Technology Inc. (CarBEV) has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast to collaborate on the development of a nationwide electric mobility ecosystem in the Philippines, with cooperation set to commence in 2026.
The agreement was signed at VinFast’s headquarters in Hanoi. Under the MoU, the two parties will work on the deployment of battery-electric vehicles across public and private transport segments, expansion of charging infrastructure, electrification of key transport corridors, and implementation of green mobility programmes.
