Adani Green Energy Limited has incorporated a step-down subsidiary, Adani Ecogen Five Limited (AE5L).
AE5L has been incorporated in India and registered with the registrar of companies and is yet to commence business operations. AE5L has been incorporated through Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, which holds 100 per cent of the share capital of the new entity. The main objective of AE5L is to generate, develop, transform, distribute, transmit, sell and supply power or electrical energy using renewable sources, including solar and wind energy.
