SRE signs CPPAs for entire 495 MW Formosa 4 offshore wind project in Taiwan

Synera Renewable Energy Group (SRE) has signed corporate purchase agreements (CPPA) forthe entire 495 MW capacity of its Formosa 4 offshore wind project.  The project achieved full subscription following an initial CPPA signed with Taiwan Smart Electricity and Energy in December 2025, along with two additional CPPAs concluded later in the same month with an unnamed leading corporate buyer and an unnamed power services provider. The Formosa 4 offshore wind project is planned off the coast of Miaoli county in Taiwan. It was awarded capacity under Phase 3 of Taiwan’s offshore wind programme during the first auction round held in 2022 and received its establishment permit in late 2024. With key permits secured and offtake fully tied up, the project is positioned to proceed into the construction phase.
