ACEN has completed its transition to a fully renewable energy generation portfolio with over 7 GW of attributable capacity comprising projects that are operational, under construction or backed by signed agreements.
According to the company, its renewable portfolio includes 4,634 MW of solar power, 1,957 MW of wind power, 115 MW of geothermal capacity and 304 MW of battery energy storage. The assets are spread across multiple geographies, including the Philippines, Australia, Vietnam, India, Lao PDR and Indonesia. ACEN stated that it now operates on 100 per cent renewable energy generation and is targeting net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in line with global climate objectives.
