Adani Group has commenced the construction of the 570 MW Wangchhu Hydroelectric Project in Bhutan in partnership with Druk Green Power Corporation.
Under the project structure, Druk Green Power Corporation will hold a 51 per cent equity stake, while Adani Group will own the remaining 49 per cent. The Wangchhu project is estimated to involve an investment of about Rs 60 billion and is targeted for completion within five years.
