Bajel Projects Limited has commissioned the 400 kV Ananthpuram–Kurnool double-circuit transmission line in Andhra Pradesh.
The project “TL01 – Ananthpuram–Kurnool 400 kV D/C Line” forms part of an inter-state transmission system tariff-based competitive bidding initiative of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited through its subsidiary Powergrid Ananthpuram Kurnool Transmission. The line connects the Ananthpuram Pooling Station with the Kurnool-III Pooling Station and is aimed at enhancing grid stability and supporting rising power demand in the Ananthpuram and Kurnool districts. Under the project scope, Bajel Projects completed the erection of 222 transmission towers and stringing of about 171 circuit kilometres of conductor.
