Bondada Engineering Limited has received a letter of award (LoA) from Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (APTRANSCO) for the development of a large-scale standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Andhra Pradesh.
The project will be implemented under the build-own-operate model and entails setting up 225 MW/450 MWh of standalone BESS capacity. The project has a total contract value of about Rs 6.27 billion and is to be executed within 18 months from the date of receipt of the LoA. The project is expected to generate stable, long-term annuity-based revenue post construction and will contribute meaningfully to the company’s revenue visibility.
