Sun Drops Energia, a subsidiary of KPI Green Energy Limited, has secured a letter of intent (LoI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for the development of 445 MW/890 MWh standalone battery energy storage systems (BESS) across multiple locations in Gujarat.
The BESS will be implemented under an independent power producer model. Furthermore, the projects will be awarded viability gap funding from the Power System Development Fund.
