Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has commissioned the hydro-mechanical systems for the 2,000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project in the Arunachal Pradesh–Assam border.
Texmaco served as the sole hydro-mechanical contractor for the project and was responsible for the design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the hydro-mechanical systems. The Subansiri Lower project comprises eight units of 250 MW each with power from the project being supplied to the national grid.
