Tata Power Company Limited has commissioned the 400/220 kV Jalpura–Khurja Metro Depot substation and associated transmission lines in Greater Noida adding 1,000 MVA of transformation capacity to meet rising electricity demand.
The project has been executed through TP Jalpura Khurja Transmission Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power. The newly commissioned intra-state transmission system will also enable surplus power injection into the Northern Grid.
