JSW Energy Limited has secured a contract for the supply of turbine generators for its 1,600 MW Salboni thermal power project in West Bengal.
The contract has been signed by JSW Thermal Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Energy with its associate company Toshiba JSW Power Systems Private Limited for the procurement of two steam turbine generators of 800 MW each. The turbine-generator packages will be manufactured and supplied in line with the project’s construction schedule to support timely completion and commissioning of the plant.
