Andritz AG has secured a contract from Doosan Enerbility Company Limited to supply pump turbine units for the 500 MW Yeongdong pumped storage plant in South Korea.
The order was booked in Andritz’s fourth quarter 2025 order intake. The project is being implemented jointly by Doosan Enerbility and Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power. The plant is expected to support grid stability and facilitate higher renewable energy integration.
