CESC Green Power Limited, a subsidiary of CESC Limited, has secured in-principle approval from the high-level clearance authority, Government of Odisha, to set up an integrated clean energy manufacturing facility in Dhenkanal district.
The proposed project entails the establishment of 3 GW solar cell manufacturing capacity, 3 GW solar module manufacturing capacity, a 5 GWh advanced chemistry battery cell pack facility, advanced solar component manufacturing, and a 60 MW alterantive current captive power plant. The total investment is estimated at approximately Rs 45 billion to be implemented in three phases.
