NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Uttar Pradesh government for the development of renewable energy and green hydrogen projects in the state.
Under the agreement, NGEL and the Uttar Pradesh government will explore opportunities for setting up utility-scale renewable energy projects and green hydrogen initiatives, aligned with the state’s clean energy transition and industrial decarbonisation objectives. The collaboration is expected to facilitate project identification, land availability, regulatory support and integration with the state’s power and industrial infrastructure.
