KPI Green Energy Limited has commissioned the first 24.2 MW alternate current (AC) (34.4 MW DC) capacity of its 250 MW AC (350 MW DC) grid-connected solar independent power producer project awarded by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
The project forms part of the 250 MW AC (350 MW DC) solar photovoltaic project awarded to KPI Green Energy through a competitive bidding process issued by GUVNL for procurement of power from grid-connected solar projects across India. The early commissioning of the initial tranche reflects steady progress in line with planned execution milestones, with the balance capacity expected to be implemented at a similar pace.
