Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Premier Energies Limited has commissioned a 400 MW solar photovoltaic cell manufacturing facility based on mono passivated emitter and rear cell technology (PERC) at its E-City plant in Maheshwaram, Telangana,.
The commissioning forms part of a brownfield expansion of the company’s existing cell manufacturing operations and has been achieved through the installation of additional equipment while leveraging existing infrastructure and utilities at the facility. Following the commissioning of the new line, Premier Energies’ total operational solar cell manufacturing capacity has increased to 3.6 GW.
