Reportedly, Rajasthan is set to secure 500 MW of solar power from a 1,000 MW solar project commissioned by SJVN Limited in Bikaner.
The remaining 500 MW has been allocated to Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. The project has been developed at an estimated cost of Rs 54,920 million and has discovered a tariff of Rs 2.57 per unit supported by viability gap funding of Rs 4.4 million per MW.
