Suzlon Group has secured a 248.85 MW wind power order from the ArcelorMittal Group as part of a 550 MW hybrid project in Gujarat for captive consumption.
The mandate marks its first wind order from ArcelorMittal and its fourth major wind order linked to decarbonisation of steel production, taking its cumulative contribution to about 1,156 MW of wind capacity supporting green steel in the country.
