JSW Neo Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has acquired the Tidong Power Generation Private Limited from Statkraft IH Holding AS for Rs 17.28 billion.
Tidong Power is developing a 150 MW run-of-river hydropower project in Kinnaur district, Himachal Pradesh which is expected to be commissioned in October 2026. The project has a long-term power purchase agreement with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited for 75 MW at a tariff of Rs 5.57 per kWh with the balance capacity to be sold on the merchant market.
