Electricity National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) has advanced high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission projects planned under Vietnam’s revised Power Development Plan VIII to strengthen long-distance power transfer.
The plan includes four state-invested HVDC lines targeted for commissioning during 2031–35 and EVNNPT is moving ahead with studies and investment procedures Gyeonggi and KEPCO sign MoU for underground transmission grid
