Polaris Smart Metering has manufactured and deployed more than 1 million smart meters across India under the revamped distribution sector scheme (RDSS).
The company is supporting end-to-end advanced metering infrastructure rollouts, including manufacturing, deployment, system integration and data security, in coordination with distribution companies across multiple states. Polaris currently has an annual manufacturing capacity of 5 million meters and is expanding through its Polaris NOVA facility, which is expected to increase production capacity to 10 million meters per year by mid-2026.
