Vayona Energy has signed a 702 MW wind turbine supply agreement with Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited.
Under the agreement, Vayona Energy will supply 195 SG 3.6-145 wind turbines for multiple wind projects across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. The projects are expected to add 702 MW of wind capacity and expand TPREL’s wind portfolio, which the company said exceeds 2 GW across operational assets and projects under development.
