ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Suryodaya Private Limited, has commissioned the first phase of its battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
The commissioned phase comprises 19 MW/38 MWh out of the total planned capacity of 285 MW/600 MWh at the Sanwara and Mehar Nagar sites in Pokhran tehsil. The commissioned capacity will initially operate as merchant capacity, while retaining flexibility to shift to a long-term power purchase agreement in the future.
