Zambia has signed an implementation agreement with Goldenray Energy Limited to develop a 118 MWp solar power plant in Sinazongwe district in Southern Province.
The project is expected to begin supplying electricity by early 2027 and is aimed at supporting the country’s renewable energy and energy security objectives.
