REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has transfered Umred Power Transmission Limited, the project special purpose vehicle (SPV) for an intra-state transmission system project in Maharashtra to Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL).
The project has an implementation period of 24 months and broadly includes the establishment of a 400/220/132 kV substation at Umred, a 220 kV double-circuit transmission line of about 51 km from Umred (new) to additional Buttibori (proposed), a 132 kV double-circuit transmission line of about 38 km from Kolari (existing) to Umred (new), and line-in line-out works at 400 kV, 220 kV and 132 kV levels along with associated infrastructure.
