Apraava Energy has commissioned the 400 kV Fatehgarh IV transmission line and the 400/220 kV pooling substation in Barmer, Rajasthan.
The project forms part of the transmission scheme for evacuation of power from renewable energy zones in Rajasthan (20 GW) under phase III part A1. Fatehgarh IV Transmission Limited has a renewable power transmission capacity of 2.5 GW through five 500 MVA transformers, and the new line connects to Apraava’s Fatehgarh-III substation, strengthening renewable energy evacuation from the Jaisalmer-Barmer region.
