Sunsure Energy has signed long-term solar power purchase agreements (PPA) with Daeseung Autoparts India and Ilgahng Automotive, both part of South Korea’s Daeseung Group, to supply a total of 8 MW of solar power to their facilities in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.
Under the agreements, power will be supplied from Sunsure Energy’s 75 MW solar plant at Ilayangudi. Daeseung Autoparts India will receive about 8 million units of power annually, meeting nearly 60 per cent of its total electricity demand.
